Mussels [Moules]

When it comes to the classic dishes of Belgian cuisine,
Moules-frites is certainly a popular choice.
From the Belgian coast to the streets of Brussels, most people are familiar with the large steaming pots laden with mussels. They are known as a clean and nutritious source of protein, omega 3 fatty acids, zinc, folate, exceeding the recommended daily intake of selenium, iodine and iron. Our mussels come from cold waters of Spencer Gulf in South Australia, sustainably farmed with no negative impact to the environment.

Belgian beer

Belgium has the greatest diversity of original beer styles on the planet. It has an unrivalled brewing heritage which is deeply embedded across its towns and villages.
Belgium’s contemporary brewers are showing off their talent by marrying innovation with respect for tradition.
Today Belgium is known as a home to more than 400 breweries. Highly rated for its strong Belgian Ales, Saisons, Sour Ales, Flemish Red Ales and Trappist beers which are brewed by monks of the Trappist order.
We are proud to offer over 40 Belgian beers including some of the last 6 Belgian Trappist beers in the world.

Belgium is well known for its chocolate history and its chocolate is, nowadays, a gold standard for the world.
All our chocolate products, pralines and truffles are handmade by Delphine using the top quality chocolate challets imported from Belgium.
Did you know that chocolate contains tryptophan?
Essential amino acid, which the brain uses to produce serotonin, a hormone that causes euphoria. So, eating chocolate really does make you happier!

One of the best meals I’ve had in a while! Restaurant is run by a lovely couple who are so passionate and about Belgian cuisine and beers! The moules mariniere were awesome and the chocolate fondant pudding to end was fantastic. Recommend going a little early and having a drink/nibbles at the bar before going into the courtyard restaurant- lovely atmosphere and couldn’t recommend enough!

Dessert insight

~Chocolate fondant~ The best choice when you feel your belly full, but still interested to taste a bit of the real Belgian chocolate. Warm dark chocolate and cold vanilla ice-cream? Simply undeniable!

Mousse au chocolat Belge

~Chocolate mousse~ Without a doubt the most popular dessert at our restaurant. Light and airy texture combined with strong taste of Belgian chocolate. Never left unfinished.

Gaufres Belges

~Fresh Belgian waffle~ Originally showcased in 1958 in Brussel and then introduced to the United States by a Belgian named Walter Cleyman in 1962. Freshly baked and warmly served, just like in Belgium.
